quick questions: I want to make kale chips for my packed lunches but don't have time to cook it every morning. Can I do a big batch and store it? How could it be stored? How long will it last?

I'm making a carrot cake for a girlfriend tomorrow and the recipe calls for commercial egg replacer (I think it's really for the texture as it's quite a heavy cake). I've just noticed that my Allergy Care egg replacer has a BBE date of 31 March - do you reckon it's still ok to use. There's no mold on it and I think it smells alright but I don't ( Read more... )

i have an unopened box of boca crumbles ......from december 2007.
is there any chance in hell this is still good? its been constantly frozen since then and i tend to think the freezer is magical so i have a habit of throwing stuff in there and then forgetting it.

I hope this isn't a silly question...but I had bought some silken tofu a couple weeks ago and I just made some vegan pumpkin pie for tomorrow. I just realized the packaged said sept 13 08. Doesn't the vacuum silken tofu last till you open it or should I throw away this pie?
